Bvlgari Spring Summer 2026: Where Jewelry Inspires Leather
Bvlgari’s Spring/Summer 2026 Leather Goods & Accessories Collection brings together the maison’s jewelry heritage and artisanal leather savoir‑faire. Under the direction of Mary Katrantzou, Creative Director of Leather Goods and Accessories, the collection reinterprets Bvlgari’s iconic motifs — Serpenti, Divas’ Dream, and Tubogas — transforming them into elegant, wearable leather pieces.

This season’s concept, dubbed High Craft, emphasizes the Roman Maison’s mastery over both form and material: shapely silhouettes, refined leather finishes, and jewelled references that elevate everyday accessories into modern heirlooms.

The Serpenti Cuore 1968: A Heart‑Shaped Return
At the heart of the collection is the long‑coveted Serpenti Cuore 1968, a reissue of one of Bvlgari’s most iconic It bags. With its distinctive heart-shaped body and snake-inspired metallic handle — drawn from the legendary Serpenti Harlequin Watch of 1968 — the bag is a poetic symbol of love and heritage.

Available from February 2026, the new edition is crafted in ultra-soft Light Amethyst calf leather, blending supple luxury with a nostalgic silhouette. It’s a modern statement piece, yet deeply rooted in Bvlgari’s Roman identity.

Petite Yet Powerful: The Serpenti Cuoricino
Introducing the Serpenti Cuoricino, a jewel-like miniature that encapsulates the same sensual curves as its larger sibling but with a more compact charm. The padded design retains the heart‑shaped structure, packaged in vivid calf leather tones such as Royal Ruby, Dusty Pink, Tangerine Garnet, Sunbeam Citrine, and Feroza Turquoise.

From mid‑January 2026, Bvlgari will also offer two sparkling Neige Pave Crystal editions: a luminous gold variant and a vibrant Rainbow version. Each is adorned with more than 1,600 hand‑applied Swarovski crystals, arranged via a painstaking multi‑step process — a testament to the maison’s complex artisanal mastery.

The Calla Motif Reimagined: Roman Roots in Modern Leather
Another highlight: a fresh interpretation of the Calla pattern, inspired by a fragment of Ancient Rome. Drawing from the restored mosaics of the Baths of Caracalla, Mary Katrantzou reimagines this motif with a feminine yet universal sensibility for Bvlgari’s modern leather collection.

This homage to Rome’s architectural and artistic legacy underscores Bvlgari’s commitment to heritage craftsmanship and refined innovation.

Context in Luxury & Craftsmanship
Bvlgari’s foray into leather goods is deeply informed by its haute joaillerie roots. The maison has long married jewelry elegance with everyday luxury — as seen in its Magnifica Serpenti Forever Emerald and Ruby One‑of‑a‑Kind bag, which Luxferity has covered in previous editions.

Similarly, the Serpenti Infinito design — a perpetual transformation of the serpent motif — reflects Bvlgari’s evolving craftsmanship across watches, jewelry, and now accessories.

The Petit Wave (Black, Swarovski Crystal)

For those who follow Bvlgari’s innovations in timepieces, the maison’s legacy of bold design and technical mastery was recently highlighted in Luxferity’s piece on its record‑breaking Octo Finissimo watches.
