Piaget Presents Its New Sunlight Collection
Luxferity, 29.06.2021
Sunshine is the source of all life.
It is what wakes up our planet, lights our morning sky, warms us through the day, and delights us every evening as it bids us farewell. The sun has been a source of inspiration for Piaget since the Maison’s very beginnings. For Piaget, the sun is a symbol of life, brilliance, and joy; it embodies the extraordinary radiance, optimism, and lively spirit of the Maison.
The Piaget Sunlight Collection
Captures all the positive energy of the sun in a celebration of happiness and acts as a reminder to appreciate every minute of every day. Each Piaget sunlight creation embodies the energy and power of the sun with creative designs that combine the warmth and luminosity of gold with unique and radiant motifs.
From dawn to dusk
This year, Piaget is unveiling a magnificent collection of jewellery creations that celebrate moments of the sun’s journey through the sky, from dawn to dusk. To achieve the unique luminosity
of each moment, Piaget uses a “camaieu” of different nuances of the same colour to create a uniquely radiant effect. This is the result of a team effort between the Maison’s designers and gemmologists. Not only is it very complex to find the perfect stones in the exact hue, but the gem setting is also a timely process, with the pendants alone taking four hours to snow-set. Each gem selection is also made in-house from the finest quality gemstones that are the purest.
The magic of dawn
Dawn is a magical moment in the day when the sun peeps over the horizon, marking the start of a brand-new day. This peaceful moment is full of promise and anticipation for the beginning of a new day. A day that can be whatever you want it to be. To celebrate this unique moment, Piaget is unveiling two new 18K rose gold rings, one with a gorgeous scratch-resistant finish, and the other depicting the rising sun with the Maison’s iconic Palace D cor engraving and 19 brilliant-cut diamonds.
Watching the sunrise
As the sun slowly rises in the sky, it brings sparkle to everything it touches, from the dew on the grass to the birds in the trees who welcome the new day with their uplifting morning song. The sunrise is also a luminous moment that brings you the energy to take on the rest of the day with a spring in your step.
- Piaget is unveiling a new Piaget Sunlight pendant in praise of this special moment of the day.

The beautiful blue sapphires are surrounded by a dazzle of sun rays that have also been set with 61 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.96 ct) for maximum light.

About Piaget
Piaget epitomizes daring creativity – a quality that has continued to permeate through the Maison since its beginnings in 1874. From his first workshop in La C te-aux-F es, Georges-Edouard Piaget devoted himself to crafting high-precision movements in a feat that formed the very foundations of our pioneering name. In the late 1950s, Piaget unveiled the ultra-thin movements that would later become the Maison’s trademark and the cornerstone of the Altiplano collection. As a true innovator of the watch and jewellery world, Piaget strongly believed in creativity and artistic values. It is within the walls of our “Ateliers de l’Extraordinaire” where master artisans continue to harness rare skills that have been preserved and perfected from generation to generation, transforming gold, stones and precious gems into dazzling works of art. Through its pursuit of masterful craftsmanship, the Maison has created emblems of daring excellence channeled into its collections including Piaget Altiplano, Piaget Polo, Limelight Gala, Possession, Sunlight, Piaget Rose and Extremely Piaget.
