“Rising Sun” Debuts In Serapian’s Boutique In Via Della Spiga, Milan

The wait is over. Serapian introduces its clientele to a heartfelt homage to Gabriella Crespi, turning its via della Spiga boutique into a special installation for the debut of the “Gabriella Crespi x Serapian” collaboration during Milano Design Week.

A sophisticated collection created to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of the noted Milanese artist and designer, composed of Serapian’s iconic creations along with a special edition of the Secret clutch. Both Maisons are symbols of unsurpassed glamour, deeply connected with the aesthetic of Milano, sharing in the values of elegance and high craftsmanship.

First presented to insiders during Milan Fashion Week, it is now time to share with the public this special collection.  Beautifully blending brass elements typical of Crespi and the iconic "Rising Sun" ray pattern with Serapian's high craftsmanship and the Mosaico weaving technique, perfectly capturing the refined sense of style shared by the Maisons.

During the 61^st edition of Salone del Mobile, happening in Milano from the 17^th to the 23^rd of April, Serapian boutique will host a curated selection of Gabriella Crespi’s personal design pieces from her Milan home called “The House of the Rising Sun” by the international press in the Seventies.

Cameranesi & Pompili design studio curated the special installation as a further tribute to Crespi’s Rising Sun collection, developed between 1973 and 1975.
