Acne Studio's FW22 Distortion Bag Reimagined In A New Campaign By Keisuke Otobe

This season’s Distortion Bag is reimagined by art photographer Keisuke Otobe in a series of distorted still life images and videos. Otobe uses his signature technique of physical manipulation, flatbed scanning and scratching images to distort the subject. The Distortion Bag comes back in new colorways and shapes. In addition to its existing two sizes designed with sharp, slanted angles, fold-over front flap and top handle; the distortion appears in a micro shoulder.

The full range will be available in all Acne Studios stores and on acnestudios.com from 1st September in calf leather, hairy cow printed leather and croco patent printed leather.

Born in Tokyo in 1977, Keisuke Otobe moved to Italy aged 19 to study at the Fondazione Studio Marangoni in Florence before settling in Milan, where he is now based. He will also feature in the forthcoming issue #17 of Acne Paper released in November 2022.
