Chloé’s “Entre Deux” Collection Summer 2026: The Elegance Of Ease
Luxferity, 07.10.2025

In a poetic interplay between structure and freedom, Chemena Kamali, Creative Director of Chloé, unveils “The Entre Deux Collection” for Summer 2026 — a contemplative exploration of what couture can mean within the Chloé universe.
Presented within the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, the collection embodies the spirit of openness and dialogue — values that have always defined both the institution and the Maison itself.
Redefining Couture: Between Freedom And Form
“I wanted to explore what the idea of couture could mean in the Chloé context,”Kamali reflects. “A paradox for a house founded on the principles of democratic freedom and ease.”
From this paradox, a dialogue emerges — one that bridges the grandeur of couture craftsmanship with the ease of ready-to-wear. The designer revisits Gaby Aghion’s founding vision, returning to the very essence of what Chloé once stood for: “a thing of beauty and quality should be seen on women in the streets.”
Kamali draws inspiration from the earliest Chloé silhouettes of the 1950s — airy forms that were structured without rigidity, refined yet unconstrained. Through pleating, knotting, and wrapping, she achieves a sense of spontaneous movement, merging couture techniques with simplicity and purity.
A Study In Contrast: Luxury Made Light
The “Entre Deux” pieces reveal a delicate tension between grandeur and restraint. Kamali works with humble, natural fabrics — primarily cotton poplin — elevating them through draping and sculptural form.
Archival floral prints from the 1950s and 1960s are redrawn and reimagined, while outerwear archetypes are deconstructed and reworked in airy layers of fabric that seem to float. Every look evokes freedom in motion, yet carries the precision of an atelier’s touch.
At once intimate and monumental, the collection reads as a love letter to craftsmanship, creativity, and feminine strength — a dialogue between past and present, tradition and transformation.
A Symbolic Setting: UNESCO Paris
The choice of UNESCO as the stage for this collection is deeply intentional. The postmodern architecture, built in the same era as Chloé’s earliest years, becomes a backdrop of meaning: a temple of culture, exchange, and creative freedom.
In this space, Kamali’s reinterpretation of couture feels both reverent and revolutionary — a reaffirmation that luxury is not about constraint, but liberation.
Chemena Kamali: A Modern Visionary
Born in Germany in 1981, Chemena Kamali brings more than two decades of experience to Chloé. A graduate of Central Saint Martins, where she studied under the late Professor Louise Wilson, Kamali’s creative path includes tenures with Phoebe Philo, Clare Waight Keller, and Anthony Vaccarello at Saint Laurent.
Since her appointment as Creative Director of Chloé in 2023, Kamali has infused the Maison with renewed energy — balancing modern sensuality with heritage craftsmanship, reaffirming Chloé’s place as a leading voice in contemporary luxury.
