Since 1884 Bulgari’s creative vision has been deeply rooted in the unique heritage of its birthplace Rome. Now, once more drawing on the cultural legacy and unrivalled beauty of the Eternal City, Bulgari introduces the BULGARI Roma handbag, a new style translating the unique DNA of the Maison into a contemporary and refined design. The new BULGARI Roma handbag is interpreted by the glamorous charm of the renowned model Olympia of Greece through the lens of Bruno & Nico Van Mossevelde.
A perfect come together of functionality, sleek elegance and unmistakable details, the new model is set to become Bulgari’s next daywear icon due to its easy-to-match and versatile appeal. The top handle shape plays on the distinctive combination between a rigid and roomy body, and the curved lines of the metallic décor. This emblematic element featuring the Bulgari logo in Roman capital letters, represents the iconic signature of the bag and builds a full circle with the rounded top handles.
It was 1975 when the Roman Jeweller first dared to use its logo as an element of design engraved on a watch’s face, a stylistic choice that at that time represented an unprecedented innovation. From jewellery to accessories and eyewear, the Bulgari logo soon became a distinctive trademark of the Maison’s style, especially as the circular engraving, inspired by the inscriptions on ancient Roman coins, of the BULGARI BULGARI collection.
