Giorgio Armani Unveils ARMANI/Archivio At The Venice International Film Festival
Luxferity, 19.09.2025

Giorgio Armani has unveiled ARMANI/Archivio, the maison’s new digital platform dedicated to preserving and sharing its unparalleled fashion heritage. Marking the 50th anniversary of the House, the launch was celebrated in grand style at the Venice International Film Festival with an intimate dinner in support of UNICEF, followed by a glittering soirée attended by 500 international guests at Tesa 113 of the Arsenale.
A Digital Gateway Into Armani’s Legacy
The newly launched ARMANI/Archivio is a first-of-its-kind luxury digital archive, meticulously curating thousands of original Giorgio Armani women’s and men’s looks. This cultural initiative acts as a “conceptual dictionary,” showcasing five decades of creativity, consistency, and evolution.
Accessible from archivio.armani.com, the platform will initially present 57 emblematic looks to the public, while offering Armani Group employees full access to its extensive catalogue. A physical counterpart to the archive will open near Milan, reaffirming the brand’s deep connection to its Italian roots.
Heritage Meets The Future
In a gesture that epitomizes the house’s ethos of timelessness and circularity, ARMANI/Archivio reintroduces iconic pieces from historic collections. These garments, carefully preserved and selected, are now offered new life, bridging past and present while inspiring future generations of fashion enthusiasts.
Following its Venice debut, ARMANI/Archivio looks will travel to select flagship boutiques worldwide, beginning with Milan, Paris, and London, before reaching Los Angeles (timed with the Academy Museum Gala on 18 October), New York, Beijing, and Tokyo.
Celebrations Beyond Venice
From 16 to 29 September, Milan’s famed La Rinascente—the very department store where Giorgio Armani first embarked on his journey in fashion—will present window displays dedicated to ARMANI/Archivio.
The global celebrations culminate during Milan Fashion Week. On 24 September, Armani will inaugurate a landmark exhibition at the Pinacoteca di Brera, featuring 150 looks displayed amidst masterpieces of Italian art. The anniversary season will close with a highly anticipated runway show in the Courtyard of Honour at Palazzo Brera, where Giorgio Armani Women’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection will be unveiled alongside selected men’s looks.
Commitment To Humanitarian Causes
The Venice launch was not only a cultural milestone but also a philanthropic one. In line with the maison’s enduring commitment to humanitarian values, Giorgio Armani pledged support to UNICEF’s Global Humanitarian Thematic Fund, which provides rapid responses to global crises with a focus on protecting children’s rights.
