Diane Von Furstenberg Hosts The 16th Annual DVF Awards In Venice

On August 28, 2025, the world of luxury, philanthropy, and high society will converge at the historic Teatro Carlo Goldoni during the 82^nd International Venice Film Festival as Diane von Furstenberg hosts the prestigious 16^th Annual DVF Awards.

Founded in 2010 by Diane von Furstenberg and the Diller–von Furstenberg Family Foundation, the DVF Awards have become a defining moment on the global cultural calendar, honoring extraordinary women whose courage, resilience, and leadership inspire change across continents.

This year’s honorees embody the Awards’ mission of empowerment and global impact:   

• Hanin Ahmed – Sudanese activist and Emergency Response Room leader.

• Christy Turlington Burns – Founder & President of Every Mother Counts, advancing maternal health worldwide.

• Fany Kuiru Castro – General Coordinator of COICA, defending Indigenous and environmental rights.

• Kim Kardashian – Entrepreneur, philanthropist, and advocate for criminal justice reform.

• Giulia Minoli – President of Una Nessuna Centomila and activist against gender-based violence.
