"The MCM Wearable Casa Collection defines how we will live - physically and digitally together, in a more sustainable way. It's unique concept of wearing and dwelling that imparts multiple value to consumer, leading them toward a more sustainable and healthier way of leaving. We (MCM) have chosen Atelier Biagetti because of its unique disruptive attitude towards the world of design; its approach to creativity is nurtured by everyday life and our brand wants to talk about everyday life. Atelier Biagetti is far from the classic design studios, most of its projects deal with surprising performances, upredictable vidoes, uncommon objects, which we really feel close to the MCM.", says Sung-joo Kim, Chairperson MCM Group.

Through the establishment of playful associations and thought-provoking visual short-circuits, MCMWearable Casa Collection pioneers an unconventional reinterpretation of the zeitgeist diving into our heritage as well as design references, to create objects fitting into our futuristic lifestyle. Portable and multifunctional, the 7 pieces from MCMWearable Casa Collection bring together the unruly approach of last century's Bauhaus functionality and spirit to the contemporary nomadic attitude, perfectly fitting the German brand, originally founded in Munich, in 1976 - born out of a time of transition, in a place where traditions were being broken.

"The feeling we want to recreate is something you have never seen before, a place in between past, present and future. An experience to live and discover a new world in a subjective view like a videogame. The exhibition is conceived as a hybrid space, with two sides and ways to enter: reality and metaverse, so that you can enjoy the experience even remotely. It is an exhibition which lives out and after itself, making Palazzo Cusani's rooms an extension to another world, where everything becomes magic and infinite, and where even avatars could wear the objects", add Alberto Biagetti and Laura Baldassari of Atelier Biagetti.

"The MCM Wearable Casa Collection by Atelier Biagetti is the ultimate narrative expedient to bring objects to the next level. Thanks to ironic and original design associations and visual short-circuits, the concept of bringing a piece of home along not only reflects the essence of travel but also embodies the lifestyle of a digital nomad.", confirms Maria Cristina Didero.

With MCMWearable Casa Collection, the brand and Atelier Biagetti aim to create an immersive experience, a multiverse that transcends conventional expectations, redefining the relationship between individuals, objects, and their living spaces. • Chatty Sofa

Evoking a street graffiti style, this sofa not only nods to the vibrant urban art found in streets but also serves as a visual representation of "casa" - home; it can be considered a symbolic emblem for the entire collection. The comfortable and welcoming Chatty sofa pays homage to design classics like Gufram's Bacca Sofa by Studio 65, designed in the 70's, blending nostalgia with contemporary flair. When you go out, especially for a long trip, do not forget to bring the little travel pillow with you: you will literally have a real piece of your own home with you. This sofa goes beyond conventional seating by offering a space for repose while simultaneously ensuring users stay connected and their devices remain charged.

  • Space Cabinet series

Flexible - DNA - Multifunctional planet

A drawing inspiration from spatial references such as planets and extra-terrestrial explorations stands out as a series of multifunctional pieces within the collection. Tree objects are part of this family; the first big one serves as a jewel-mini-bag with a mirror, the medium size one is a mini-cabinet with halo, while the third one is actually an inflatable wellness sitting ball. The series emphasizes a dual-use thematic that is present across all the objects in the collection. It showcases how each item serves a twofold purpose. For example, we have a little bag but also a jewel on one hand, then we have a small sphere that can even provide illumination while you can sit and play on the last leather ball; a full menu for essential moments of self-care and enhancement of personal well-being.
