GENNY Spring/Summer 2023 collection is the bearer of “good energy”. It emphasises and conveys a message inspired by the vital positivism of the Lowbrow art movement, which influenced the pop cultures of the Seventies from Los Angeles.
Los Angeles, its solar landscapes, sophisticated and warm international wave, are the traits of the stylistic perimeter that Sara Cavazza Facchini has outlined for GENNY's femininity. Hence the choice of Sara Sampaio, who with her Portuguese origins, oceanic sunshine and spontaneous temperament, stands as an archetype of the sought-after, conscious and sparkling femininity of GENNY women. The campaign photograph was shared with the cosmopolitan gaze of Dario Catellani, one of the most highly regarded interpreters of the contemporary female image, flanked by the work of the stylist, Cathy Kasterine.
