Franck Muller's WPHH Novelties 2021 - DOUBLE MYSTERY™ PEONY

The Double Mystery™ Peony highlights the savoir-faire of Master Jewelers and combines technical innovation and mechanical complication.

The collection holds the innovative time display system which has made the Double Mystery so successful: the hands are replaced by two rotating discs each with an arrow-shaped indicator.

The first arrow is placed on a central disc and allows the reading of the hour, whereas the second is placed on an outer disc allowing the reading of the minutes. This invention represents the successful mastering of a technical challenge and was patented in 1998.

The Double Mystery™ Peony collection is entirely hand-set with diamonds and semi-precious stones. This timepiece comes in two different sizes (Ø 39 and Ø 42 diameters) in order to harmoniously fit the wrist. 662 diamonds and precious stones forming peonies, for total of 4.87 carats for the greater size. The perfect continuity of the diamond setting, from the dial to the case enhances the beauty of the timepiece.

These opulent round flowers inspire the full collection with grace and elegance, they are both spectacular and fascinating.

The open back allows to admire the self-winding movement, patent of Franck Muller, enjoying 42 hours of power reserve, and engraved by hand.
