Dunhill & Frieze Masters Celebrate The 2025 Talks Series At Bourdon House

On 13 October 2025, dunhill, the foremost British luxury menswear house, and Frieze Masters inaugurated the third edition of the dunhill x Frieze Masters Talks series – a prestigious partnership that continues to champion creative dialogue across art, culture, and design.

An Evening of Contemporary British Elegance

Held at Bourdon House, dunhill’s historic Mayfair flagship, the evening embodied the essence of modern British hospitality. Guests gathered in the intimate setting for an evening of conversation, connection, and cultural exploration.

Among the distinguished attendees were Arturo Galansino, Émilie Hammen, Elizabeth Way, Simon Holloway, Russell Tovey, Oriole Cullen, Deyan Sudjic, Truls Blaasmo, Max Hurd, Flora Vesterberg, Sheena Wagstaff, Edward George, Matthew Harle, and Carl Strehlke.

The evening opened with a champagne reception, followed by the inaugural talk of the 2025 series curated by Arturo Galansino, Director General of Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi. Guests later enjoyed a three-course British-inspired dinner at Alfred’s, reflecting dunhill’s dedication to craftsmanship and refined taste.

The opening talk, ‘Fashion as Art’, saw fashion historians Émilie Hammen and Elizabeth Way delve into the evolving relationship between fashion, museum culture, and artistic heritage. Their discussion illuminated fashion’s power as both a design form and a cultural artefact, setting the intellectual tone for the week’s forthcoming sessions.
