This collection, designed by the studio in Antwerp, plays out like a joyous study. Cherished evocations of Dries Van Noten as both a continuation and a fresh perspective. Assessing, admiring and reinterpreting the designer’s language with fluency and lightness. Natural sources of beauty, the pattern programmed into a flower’s petals, transformed into a multitude of emboldened looks. New, eclectic articulations of colour, fabric, silhouette, prints and embroideries converge along an optimistic path, extending from the earliest women’s collections through what lies ahead. Spring-Summer 2025 expresses the freedom of wandering for a brief time; a fun step forward that moves to a new groove.

SILHOUETTES
Coats are worn on their own, tied at the waist, or layered casually with sport and lingerie pieces. An interplay of sophisticated and seductive, day-to-evening looks, as looser satin drapes suggest the contours of the body. Suiting proportions involve a wide shoulder and narrow, cinched waist for a strong attitude. For contrast, feminine lingerie details and slip-dresses with a sensual, loose shape. Bermudas replace skirts as a casual, boyish focus; bare legs are front and centre. Movement is floaty, playful. Waists are accentuated with fold-over basques on skirts and with snake-print belts recurring throughout the collection. Styling is relaxed with sleeves rolled up and coats undone for an elegant ease.

FABRICS
From sensual and fluid to structured and sumptuous with opulence from noble fabrics such as silk georgette and jacquard. Glossy satin and lace contrasted with masculine’s stripes. Intricate jacquards fabrics are manipulated to play with light and shadow: crushed, crinkled; plissé, cloqué. Flocked prints on contrasting backgrounds burst with bold colour. Laser-treated denim replicates jacquard. Craft emphasized through more textured fabrics, from watercolour patterning to tactile fil coupé.

PRINTS
An expression of opulence from nature, animating looks both laid-back and dressed up. Orchid and exotic flowers are reworked and enlarged to the point of abstraction, appearing like bold brushstrokes or blurred, spotted patterns in vivid hybrids, as though creating a new animal motif. From realistic to remixed combinations, bold full coverage to delicate jacquard piping that mimics python. Prints are clashing, reinforcing and challenging each other, merging into a single, spontaneous motif.

COLOURS
Vivid, ultra-saturated hues of orange, lime green and turquoise as an echo of the SS97 collection, grounded by earthier browns and beiges. The carnal red and white of a tulip expands to a chromatic spectrum of luscious shades that mix to create unexpected flower colours.

EMBROIDERIES
A slick snakeskin developed by printing matte sequins. Spherical studs and folded metallic sequins placed all-over in graphical grids or in smaller segments, accentuate movement and shine on solid and sheer surfaces. A mix of metal and multi-coloured elements create a completely textured surface on elaborate jacquards. Delicate silver embroideries applied by hand directly to jackets appear as salvaged broken jewellery.
SHOES
At once sexy and casual, from corsetry lacing to transparent heels, shoes reimagine details with a future-forward eye and synthesise the main ideas of the collection.
Two main shapes: sheer and round, and elongated – either flat or with an angled heel. Bedroom mules lean aerodynamic while lace-up flats in python-effect leather put forth a provocation. Surface treatments include red lacquer, embroidery and silver eyelets.
BAGS
Bags are another expression of attitude – to most looks and as part of the overall collection. A new ‘Satchel’ defined by a top handle and a double-bucked top flap in large, medium and small volumes made of python print or calf. A slouchy shoulder bag with a wraparound strap in snake print is styled under the arm. Bags are proposed in key fabrics from the collection.
JEWELLERY
Strong and sculptural in silver; textural with embroidered clusters of red beading that evoke futuristic berries; Abstract, organic shapes that suggest the delicate, dangerous duality of an exotic flower.
SHOW
In a space that provides a backdrop for colourful dreams. Models weaving through the organic seating brings the collection closer to the audience.
