The new Dolce&Gabbana Fall-Winter 2023/24 Advertising Campaign is a return to the future: signing the images is Steven Meisel’s unmistakable style, who, since the late 80s, has interpreted the creative world of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana creating for them some of the most iconic pictures of contemporary fashion. After curating the Campaign for the Pre-Collection 2023, Steven Meisel returns behind the lens to capture the new global it-girl: Maya Jama. With her talent, authenticity and drive to support truly inclusive beauty, Maya’s star has risen and she is now an influential female icon in contemporary culture.
In an intimate and sensual atmosphere, Maya poses with self-assurance and elegance on a designer chaiselongue. The center stage of the Campaign is the play on the material transparencies of the apparel from the Collection, between absolute black and passionate red.
The shots from the Men’s Collection belong to the same universe, in which seduction and irony, lightness and determination are satellites of the same planet.
The images of the new Campaign, with the artistic direction of Fabien Baron, are the expression of deliberate timelessness, that at the same time, leans towards the future: highlighting, once again, that true style will always be more powerful than any fleeting trend.
