Through an exquisite and sensational works of art proposal that extends beyond the limits of excellent craftsmanship and extraordinary gemstones, the collection is a precious blend of past, present, and future, showcasing an unprecedent Masterpiece, the Serpenti Aeterna necklace, as the quintessence of Bvlgari unrivalled ability to master the most precious gems of nature.

This outstanding collection is set to be revealed in Rome, at Terme di Diocleziano, one of the world’s most extraordinary antique architectural complexes. This secretly hidden precious treasure will be hosting, for the first time ever, a major private event thanks to the unique cooperation between the Italian Culture Ministry and the Fondazione Bvlgari; a collaboration forged over decades by multiple and continuous philanthropic restorations run together with the State of Italy and Rome’s authorities.

AN ODE TO ETERNITY: THE SERPENTI AETERNA NECKLACE

Marking the 140^th anniversary of the Roman jeweler, the Serpenti Aeterna necklace, the most extraordinary and precious diamond High Jewelry piece ever crafted and displayed by the Roman Maison, fully embodies Bvlgari’s quintessentially groundbreaking spirit. Revealing an outstanding combination of creativity, expertise and audacity, values that have always defined the brand’s vision, this extraordinary piece is the most precious work of art ever crafted by the jewelry house.

We wanted to create something unique in a Bvlgari way, keep challenging ourselves and surprising everyone with the decision to give diamonds the role of the protagonist, while including it into the Serpenti family. This incredible necklace required over 2,800 hours to complete and stuns with its absolute purity conveyed through diamonds. Along with symbolizing eternity, they highlight the Maison’s vocation to always push new boundaries and to surprise, celebrating this important milestone by giving diamonds the leading role instead of color gemstones, as many would have expected.

Breaking new grounds in jewelry making, Bvlgari approached this project with bravery: a rough diamond of over 200.00 carats was cut to create seven D flawless ultra clear and pure pears diamond drops totaling 140.00 carats, one for each year of the brand’s history. Adding an extra challenge, the drops are embraced in a sinuous three-dimensional wave structure in platinum, embellished with 698 baguette diamonds weighting 61.81 carats. The seductive structure flows, with the flexibility of a snake, toward the back of the necklace revealing the iconic symbol that, with the role of a clasp, guards this masterpiece representing the eternal rebirth that comes to life.

THE HIGH JEWELRY COLLECTION

Flexibility and sinuous dynamism also take center stage in Sapphire Aeterna Waves, a stunning platinum necklace defined by a sophisticated combination of diamonds and sapphires - their shimmering shades evoking the wavy ocean of Sri Lanka, the country of origin of this creation’s magnificent 38.93 carats cushion-cut sapphire. The detachable pendant highlights Bvlgari’s passion for transformative and versatile jewelry.

It took two years for Bvlgari to collect the precious gems cut to create the thirteen cushion sapphires characterizing the exquisite layout of the Sapphire Brocade necklace. Developed with the same delicacy of an haute couture masterpiece, this outstanding creation is designed to sit around the neck with lightness and gentleness. Diamonds and sapphires (63.48 carats) are matched with buff-top emeralds in a signature color combination celebrating 140 years of unparalleled High Jewelry craftsmanship. The necklace is presented with matching earrings, revealing t wo central sapphires paired with buff-top emeralds, as well as pavé and round-cut diamonds.

Bold design and ultimate lightness find a perfect balance in Aurea Chandra, an unexpected spherical choker revisiting Bvlgari iconic 1980s’ Chandra Line that, with its opulence and vibrancy, embodied the daring spirit of the exuberant decade when it was created. Five rows of alternating pink gold and pavé-set diamonds spheres gracefully wrap around the neck in a feather-weight yet eye-catching construction evoking the cyclical nature of creativity and its celestial nature.

Bvlgari’s iconic Tubogas design, a symbol of ultimate modernity, meets the eternal grace of the romantic floral motif engraved on the striking oval-cut 31.07 carats Zambian emerald protagonist of the Tubogas Flower of Time necklace. The outstanding gem is exalted by a graphic layout of 16 buff-top rubellites and pavé-set diamonds, adding extra preciousness to this remarkable creation, spreading a message of visual marvel and tactile delight. The necklace is unveiled with matching earrings, that combine natural lines with striking colors and a sleek, modern vibe. Featuring a dropstyle design, they include cabochon rubellites mixed with buff-top emeralds and diamond pavé.

Both timeless and contemporary, the Bvlgari Lotus Cabochon necklace surprises with its flamboyant colors and the intriguing pebble-like texture. This vibrant creation, evoking the silhouette of a sartorial collar, shows organic, sinuous lines recreating the shape of a lotus flower, a universal symbol of eternal rebirth. Rubellite, turquoise, emerald and amethyst cabochons are set on a carpet-like gold base guaranteeing a plush effect.

Always fascinated by the enchanting color combinations, Lucia Silvestri conceived a kaleidoscopic yet elegant creation, Earth Song, an ode to the multifaceted vital strength of Nature. This necklace combines a thick pink gold chain with three strands mixing an array of colorful gems of 345.68 carats, including rubellites, amethysts, kunzites, green tourmalines and diamonds, cut in three different shapes, rounded, oval and squared (22.21 carats). Bvlgari’s mastery reflects in the lightweight bezel settings, managing the significant carat weights to maintain harmonious spacing across three compact strands. In addition, the choice to leave the settings open at the back allows them to rest sumptuously on the skin and maximizes the light and energy that pours through their facets. The result is a masterwork of harmonious balance and joyful sophistication.

Breaking new ground in jewelry making, the Serpenti Chiseled necklace was born from a successful synergy between artisanal manufacturing expertise and refined, innovative technology. Taking inspiration from classical Roman sculpture, the body of the snake was conceived with grandiose, sinuous movement achieved through expertly joined elements guaranteeing supple dynamism. An awe-inspiring 77.78 carats pear shape rubellite in a vibrant strawberry red hue, is suspended from the snake’s mouth. Pavé sets are juxtaposed to nine pear amethysts and twenty cabochon pear rubellites (193.69 carats) exalting the creation’s sensual vibrancy, while black onyx inlays between diamonds enhance the piece’s graphic quality.

Epitomizing metamorphosis and transformation, the snake, one of Bvlgari’s most celebrated icons, finds a new interpretation in the Serpenti Sapphire Echo necklace. A white gold snake with two heads - featuring scales covered with a combination of diamonds and buff-top sapphires - holds two pear-cut Sri Lanka sapphires, each of them weighting 37.34 carats. These precious gems were sourced from a pair of Bvlgari earrings dating back to the Thirties that an Italian noblewoman client sold back to the Roman jeweler after having worn them for decades. The two stunning pendants are detachable and have been conceived to be also worn as earrings, showcasing Bvlgari’s passion for transformative jewelry.

A tribute to Rome’s enduring transcendence, the Mosaic of Time is one of the most intricate and technically challenging creations in the Aeterna High Jewelry collection. One hundred-fifty distinct modules are perfectly joined to create a mosaic of diverse colors and gem cuts, vibrating with splendor and elegance. Revealing a delicate scalloped silhouette, this incredible necklace, worked in a gentle pastel palette, combines pear-shaped Paraiba tourmalines, cushion-cut pink tourmalines, turquoises, buff-top emeralds, pavé-set diamonds, as well as contrasting onyx and mother-of-pearl details, in a balanced and refined celebration of creativity and craftsmanship. The necklace is unveiled with a coordinated timepiece and matching ring. The ring features an intricate design where a striking central cushion Paraiba tourmaline is surrounded by a mosaic of turquoises, onyx and 20 buff-top emeralds.

Past, present and future coexist in the Monete Aeterna Augustus Emerald sautoir, celebrating Bvlgari’s Roman origins and heritage. The rare imperial bronze coin, minted during the reign of Tiberius, shows the magnificent profile of the first Roman emperor, Augustus, who commissioned the building of the Ara Pacis as well as of his Mausoleum, facing the new Bvlgari Hotel in Rome. This necklace is completed with 149 identical emerald beads weighing 615.04 carats, 80 buff-top emeralds, and pavé set diamonds.

Conveying an ethereal sense of perpetual movement, the Sequence of Eternity earrings show a directional arrangement of diamonds, symbolizing a radiant future. At the center of these stunning pieces, two Mozambican oval-cut rubies, weighing 8.92 and 8.06 carats, steal the spotlight with outstanding magnificence, further exalted by three diamond drops representing the past, present, and future.

Bvlgari’s unparalleled creativity and craftsmanship, showcased in the Aeterna collection, meets Swiss watchmaking expertise in a new irresistible line of High-End watches designed to amaze and pioneer the fusion between the best of High Jewelry and feminine watches.

An homage to the Maison 140^th anniversary, Fuochi D’Artificio is a collection of timepieces reflecting the joyful atmosphere of a starry Italian summer night, lit up by vivid fireworks. Radiant motives, vibrating with a burst of colors, are obtained through the daring combination of precious and color gemstones, matched with different metals, from pink and white gold to titanium and platinum. Flexibility and dynamism are infused into the watches, all equipped with the exclusive Bvlgari Piccolissimo, the smallest micro mechanical movement in the world.

Brilliance and sophistication find a perfect balance in the Fuochi D’Artificio High Jewelry Manchette, which required more than 1,450 hours to be completed. Portraying an explosion of bright fireworks in the sky, this precious watch features a semi rigid cuff in rose gold and blue titanium which enhances the color of the sky and contrasts with the dark onyx. A sweeping variety of colorful gemstones are carefully selected and combined with sparkling diamonds and hand-cut and polished onyx inserts. The result is an extraordinary ode to joy, further exalted by the dynamism of moving elements.

Bvlgari Watch Division Creative Director Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani wanted to celebrate eternity with a mythological animal, a breathtaking work of art that required over 3,000 hours to be finished. With the Fenice High Jewelry Watch, the Roman Maison Reaffirms its position of Master of colored gemstone. Bvlgari selected over 160 carats of stones, including blue, pink and purple sapphires, amethysts, rubies, pink garnets, tanzanites, iolites, aquamarines and diamonds, to create an incredible degradé effect in a color palette, spanning from blue and red to pink and purple. This secret watch reveals a rare central 9.78 carats Paraiba tourmaline, that hides the watch dial. The delicate and dashing mobile feathering embraces the wrist thanks to a unique openwork construction allowing the bird to spread its wings and fly away. In this timepiece, the splendid Phoenix is surrounded by spikes, that symbolize the light of the resurrection enhancing the creation’s unparalleled sparkle, which was inspired by Gian Lorenzo Bernini’s altarpiece located at the Roman church of Santa Maria della Vittoria.

From a philosophical standpoint we thought of pieces that are perennial over time. ONE-OF-A-KIND HIGH JEWELRY BAGS

An ode to gemstone, a tribute to Rome and a celebration of a 140-year-old manufacturing expertise, the High-End Bags collection shows 16 one-of-a-kind pieces, crafted from exclusive materials, including alligator and crocodile, all enriched with special jewelry wonders, featuring two of the Roman Maison’s most iconic symbols, the Serpenti snake motif, as well the Monete antique coins.

Among the collection, in a nod to Bvlgari jewelry icon, the Aeterna Serpenti Pallini one-of-a-kind top handle bag in Midnight Plum Shiny Alligator stands out featuring two interchangeable detachable heads. Crafted in 18 carats white gold by drawing inspiration from the iconic “pallini” technique, the first head is set with 7.3 carats of pavé diamonds and 22 buff-top rubellites, while the second one is fully encrusted with pavé diamonds. In both iterations, a touch of contrast is given by magnetic black onyx eyes, while a full pavé white gold necklace completes the bags. From design to craftsmanship, the one-of-a-kind creations required about 9 months to be completed.

While the Serpenti creations embody the perpetual cycle of nature, the Monete High Jewelry bags represent an ode to Bvlgari’s Roman heritage and perpetual evolution of style. One made of Fuji Crocodile, the other in Midnight Plum Shiny Crocodile, the two Aeterna Monete one-of-a-kind bags pay homage to Bvlgari’s cultural legacy with a unique clasp featuring an ancient coin, “moneta” in Italian. Nestled into a hexagonal 18 carats yellow gold setting embellished with pavé diamonds, the silver coin dates back to 225-214 BC and depicts the profile of the Roman God Janus on one side, and a “Quadriga” chariot with the writing Roma in capital letters on the other. The clasp can be easily detached - and interchanged with an alternative element in 18 carats yellow gold and pavé diamonds. It can be transformed into a pendant, once attached to the 18 carats yellow gold necklace provided with the bag.

As master of gems of nature, creator of wonder and relentless innovator, Bvlgari infuses the same attention to preciousness and magnificence also to its fragrances by unveiling two one-of-a-kind gems, Aeterna Serpenti Fiamma and Aeterna Serpenti Anima; a fusion between the rarest exquisite olfactive ingredients and the most exceptional High Jewelry materials.

Born out of the expert hands of Murano artisans, the flacons embody the venetian tradition of glass art. The scales of Bvlgari icon Serpenti are incorporated in the bottle’s gold cage adornment, while, for the first time, a majestic Serpenti head is set on top of the cap. The Aeterna Serpenti Fiamma features rubellites, onyx and chrysoprase gemstones and diamonds, while the Aeterna Serpenti Anima presents tanzanite, onyx and turquoise gemstones and diamonds. The Serpenti heads turn into a transformable piece of jewelry to become a unique necklace.

Created by Master Perfumer Yann Vasnier the fragrance is shaped around three sumptuous olfactive raw materials expressing the eternal renewal of Rome and Serpenti with unexpected contrasts: Jasmine Sambac absolute, essences of Magnolia Champaca and Sandalwood, blended together to create a noble floral woody signature.
