AW21 Celebrates Bally’s Heritage Of Craftsmanship With Two New Styles

Core to Bally’s Autumn/Winter 2021 collection Legacy Continua, which honors the brand’s remarkable 170- year heritage of crafsmanship as leather architects, are two distinct design details: the use of cuero, a refined, natural leather, and an elegant twist on the iconic Bally Stripe, reinterpreted with leather artistry and a raised bombé technique.

The cuero range features unique, vegetable- tanned Italian leather, a natural material with no synthetic finishes. With an exceptionally smooth and warm hand feel, the leather’s surface will develop a distinct patina over time, instilling each style with its own individual character. Artfully crafted into versatile accessory styles, such as voluminous backpacks and weekender bags that boast handwoven leather handles, or sophisticated bucket bags, the cuero is further embossed with a “Bally Switzerland” logo, including our founding year. Women’s and men’s shoe styles, such as block - heel pumps and hiking - inspired boots, are also rendered contemporary classics with enduring appeal. Brand finishes, as with the 1851 hardware, add complementary, artisanal flourishes.

Standout styles, such as our women’s signature B-Chain bags and Janelle shoes, as well as our men’s Bally Lift sneakers and High Point bags, are given a timeless new finish with the iconic Bally Stripe reimagined in monochromatic bombé leather. This skilled craft technique fuses Bally’s emblematic, redand-white striping with masterfully composed detailing – a fitting tribute to the brand’s milestone anniversary.

These new A/ W 2021 designs are brought to life in our latest campaign by art director Antonio Monfreda and photographer Jackson Frederick. Through a mosaic of visuals, the story of Bally’s craftsmanship is seen from different points of view, whether a product’s inspired, elemental origins or the expert artisans who handcraft these sartorial staples.
