Alexander McQueen launched Special 2021 Valentine’s Day capsule collection

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Alexander McQueen launches a capsule collection featuring the new Short Story, an I-phone pouch, oversized sneakers, Tread Slick and wool and silk scarves printed and embroidered with symbols of romance.

Taking inspiration from sixties brooches, and juxtaposing signifiers of love with classic McQueen signatures, hearts, doves, roses and lips are among the curiosities that appear, at times pierced by Cupid’s arrow or subverted by punk-inspired safety pins or the house’s iconic skulls.

A single wide eye with a heart for a pupil on a pair of Tread Slick makes the perfect gift; along with a limited-edition Short Story bag, launched for the new Spring/Summer 2021 season, here all-over printed with love hearts.

The Spring/Summer 2021 pre-collection sees the introduction of new eyewear families, including the Studded Lens Sunglasses.

Referencing the punk heritage central to the house of Alexander McQueen, the sunglasses are characterised by small metal studs integrated into an acetate insert on metal frames.

Finished with the Alexander McQueen logo engraved on the metal temples, the sunglasses come in both round and cat-eye shapes and are available in a variety of lens colours.
