Zimmermann Launched Its Curated Denim Capsule As Part Of Its Spring 2021 Collection

Inspired by the core design ethos of the brand, the denim capsule showcases ZIMMERMANN’S renowned silhouettes and intricate signature detailing, truly embodying the brand’s core aesthetic.

The updated denim collection features an exclusive edit of 15 styles, manufactured from high quality, premium Japanese denim fabrications in hues of rich vintage indigo, vintage white and muted khaki, evoking a utilitarian undertone. Key shapes within the collection, including high-waisted flares and the iconic ZIMMERMANN blouson sleeve blouses, are reimagined in structured denim, perfectly balancing the modern aesthetic with vintage motifs. The Utility Jacket embodies a long line biker style silhouette, softened by trench inspired collar and cuff detailing to bring in the feminine elements at the heart of ZIMMERMANN’S designs.

Intricate details enrich the structural quality and visual elements of the final pieces. Signature branding details include a combination of custom designed shank buttons, snaps and rivets featuring the ZIMMERMANN logo as well as a ‘Z’ stitch at fly openings and cuffs. With plans to continue to expand and grow the denim offering, a specially designed rivet on all coin pockets is inscribed with the brand’s founding year, 1991, simultaneously symbolizing the brand’s origins with a nod to its future.

The cotton for these premium denim fabrications has been sourced in partnership with the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), furthering ZIMMERMANN’S commitment to improving cotton farming practices globally through the brand’s proud BCI membership. The Better Cotton Initiative is the largest cotton sustainability program in the world, collaborating with registered farmers to provide in-depth training surrounding water efficiency, caring for soil health and natural habitats, reducing the use of harmful chemicals and respecting workers’ rights and well-being. Better Cotton is not physically traceable to end products, however BCI Farmers benefit from the demand for Better Cotton in equivalent volumes to those we source.
