Vuarnet x Faction continue their multi-year partnership in the collaboration of peak performance wear with a brand-new Winter 2024 collection. This season’s collection features two new sunglass models, new goggles, a new limited-edition ski, and introduces apparel. The collaboration celebrates the Alps heritage of the two brands and the dedication to premium performance: Faction with its versatile and durable skis and Vuarnet with its eyewear, knits and skiwear designed to handle any alpine condition.

Vuarnet x Faction revels in the independent spirit of both brands. Bonded by a love for the mountains and protecting natural playgrounds, both brands engage in sustainable practices to ensure future generations’ enjoyment of wild spaces. Vuarnet was born of the mountains when Roger Pouilloux invented the Skilynx™ mineral lens technology. The brand gained notoriety when French ski racing champion Jean Vuarnet won Olympic Gold in the alpine downhill at the 1960 Games. Vuarnet has been a style and performance icon in alpine eyewear ever since. Faction was founded in 2006, in Verbier, by Tony McWilliam and Alex Hoye. Their mission was to progress ski design and build a Collective of skiers united by their passion for freeskiing. Seventeen years later, Faction’s skis have topped every major podium in freeskiing, and its films, athletes and products inspire skiers across the globe.

Two new sunglass models are added to the lineup: Legend 02 Originals and Trek and take inspiration from Faction’s Dancer 1 Ski, known by its rich red hue. Legend 02 Originals feature shiny tortoise frames and are equipped with Skilynx™ mineral lenses. Marks of both brands are featured on the temples in the Dancer 1 red. Trek features the same color scheme, including marks of both brands on the temples and integrated cord. HD Rainbow Flash bio nylon lenses provide over 180 degrees of high-definition vision.

The new goggle manufactured in Italy makes a bold style statement with a black strap embroidered with red marks of both brands. Silver Flashed Category 3 lenses are easily interchangeable with Orange Category 1 low-light lenses and feature dual-layer construction for comfortable all-day wear that won’t fog up.

The 2024 Vuarnet x Faction collection introduces mens’ skiwear for the first time. Skiers and winter enthusiasts alike will appreciate the impeccable construction, sleek fit and attention to craftsmanship. The Arctic Jacket and Meridian Pants are waterproof and breathable, made from a high-performance three-layer stretch fabric. Perhaps the most versatile pieces in the collection are the curated gender-neutral knitwear, perfect for enjoying Après-Ski after a long day on the slopes. The Mogul Jumper is constructed from 100% merino wool and features a jacquard knit skier on Dancer 1 skis. The motif is repeated on the Hoodie, which features an oversized fit and is made from heavy French terry fleece. Rounding out the collection is a beanie and neck warmer, each branded with Vuarnet and Faction.
