Origin and inspiration

Inspired by the principles of exceptional design

Launched in Dubai in 2016 by French designer Olivier Birault, the globally inspired collection follows the “Less is more” concept pioneered by the great designers of the 20th Century. Influenced by his years travelling as CEO of a watch company, and his time as a Formula 1 Executive, Birault noticed that otherwise elegant gentlemen often travelled with poorly designed leather goods, be it a wallet, a briefcase, or a suitcase. Therefore, Birault created RODERER with one clear goal in mind: to offer a focused collection of pieces combining high quality elegance and affordable endurance.
