Loro Piana: Meatpacking District Store

In 2019, Loro Piana debuted a pop-up store dedicated to the brand’s iconic white-soled shoes in New York City’s Meatpacking District. It soon became clear that the location on Ninth Avenue would eventually become a permanent Loro Piana home, complementing its Madison Avenue boutique.

Situated at 3 Ninth Avenue, the new store has been completely reimagined by the acclaimed architect Vincent Van Duysen. The space represents a fresh physical aesthetic for the company, in which a clean, open concept provides ample room for creative experimentation.

Nature is a focal point. A glass-encased winter garden features prominently, and will be re-landscaped four times per year, following the seasons. Collectively, a combination of soft and neutral tones – mixed with natural light and pristine flora – transform the store into a tranquil haven.
