Lucio Di Rosa has spent over 20 years at prestigious top design houses such as Giorgio Armani, Versace, Elie Saab and Dolce&Gabbana, working closely with brand owners and creative directors, as well as consolidating and consulting on entertainment industry relations, where his focus was on stylists, celebrities and special projects. The LDR22 mission is to connect the dots between iconic and emerging brands with the entertainment industry and key international celebrities, developing long-term, one of a kind tailor-made synergy.

Created as a uniquely tailored showroom, LDR22 Milan will be in fact a refined place, paying close attention to every finest detail. As with the first LDR22 concept atelier Los Angeles, LDR22 has extended its partnership with Fornasetti to Milan, bringing a touch of whimsical magic to this exclusive Milanese place. Key design pieces, already displayed in LA, together with other creations of the Atelier such as home accessories and porcelain pieces , are showcased in the new LDR22 Milan space. This is an unprecedented, never explored concept for Milan, and with the competitive celebrity award season just ahead, timing could not be better.

“I’ve always worked within the entertainment industry on behalf of top Fashion Luxury Designers, brand owners and Creative Directors. Now, more than ever, it has become clear that having a European based boutique showroom in the fashion capital of Milan, within a special curated space to both show product and offer international press office corporate consultancy & editorial capabilities, celebrities and influencers activations, event planning, charity partnerships, talent scouting, campaign concepts and direction, as well as the unique possibility to host celebrity clients for styling requests will certainly enhance our global offering and ability”, said Lucio Di Rosa, Founder and owner of LDR22, adding he will incorporate all of his existing consolidated roster of curated, based on trust relationships with female and male style icons.

The agency’s tailor-made approach is for brands to have a compelling presence in the entertainment and fashion industries, using tools that Lucio has developed throughout his career, and applying them to the many company’s luxury clients, such as Tod’s, Mach & Mach, Marmar Halim, Des Phemmes, Raul Mishra, Taller Marmo, RetroFETE and The Mandarin Oriental Milan & Palazzo Parigi Milan Hotels.

“It’s about curating those much-desired and rare celebrity brand ambassadors; the Art of Pairing brands to the right celebrity and vice-versa; creating new relationships and partnerships; as well as dressing celebrities not just for red carpets, but also in their day to day lives. I saw that there was a gap in the market and a great opportunity to open in Milan as a unique location and offering like this one was missing", Lucio said.

The Milan showroom also wants to be an active interlocutor in the contemporary art field, creating dialogues with national and international artists and galleries in the area. The development of the artistic concept was entrusted to Jessica Tanghetti, an art consultant and curator working internationally, who has long collaborated with Lucio Di Rosa for his own private art collection. "The concept of LDR22 reflects Lucio's sensitivity towards detail, research and the relationship between tradition and modernity, aspects that also guide his passion for art. It is fascinating to have the opportunity to visually represent these values through contemporary art, creating paths that can give life to new narratives on the relationship between fashion and art, and the anthropological implications that derive from it. LDR22's artistic project will rely on a strong philanthropic approach, in which art will not represent a mere aesthetic component, but will become a flourish for new dialogues, involving the players in the art system in a virtuous way. The space will host heterogeneous exhibition projects, involving established and mid-career artists, and will also represent a place of experimentation for emerging artists and academy students”, said Jessica Tanghetti.
