Courrèges is known for its commitment to optimism, a uniting purpose which is needed more than ever in these uncertain times. From the impulse of a gesture, a hand wrapping fabric around the body, and a serpentine strip of coloured paper, Nicolas Di Felice maps the oblique patterns of ’One minute Courrèges’ silhouettes, captured in the urgency of a movement. The subtle influence of Dan Colen’s ‘Moments like This’ - an all-time favorite of the Di Felice library – threads through this festive collection.
