And then there are the cabanas of the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc - a refuge of elegance that has been synonymous with Riviera glamor for sun worshippers, writers and screen legends since the 1930s. Now, for the 2025 summer season, the iconic seaside retreats are presented in a new, sumptuous interpretation - a tribute to the carefree elegance of the 1960s, designed by none other than interior visionary Francis Sultana.

Softly shimmering travertine in sandy tones, delicate furniture with a bamboo finish, gently billowing curtains in sage green and cream - each cabana is an invitation to idleness, a private paradise for those who want to indulge in the scent of pine trees, the salty Mediterranean breeze and discreet luxury. The handmade ceramic plates by artist Gérard Crociani from Vallauris adorn the walls and reflect the essence of carefree summer days in shimmering blue and green.

The cabanas have always been the perfect place for secret affairs. Famous actors, models and tycoons met here to linger by the water in discreet privacy. Among the legendary guests were Marlene Dietrich and Pablo Picasso, whose secret encounters are among the most exciting stories of the Côte d'Azur.
