The hotel’s revitalization was spearheaded by Countess Bergit Douglas of MM Design, renowned for her mix of European elegance and vibrant individuality. Each of Brenners’ 27 guest rooms and suites is unique, drawing inspiration from 19th-century Beaux-Arts glamour and English interior boldness.
Rich textiles, antique writing desks, and bespoke chests sourced from local artisans create a tapestry of comfort and sophistication. Colour palettes range from sun-washed corals and powder blues to forest greens and ivory creams, while marble bathrooms, modern lighting, and artisan-crafted fixtures combine old-world craftsmanship with contemporary ease.
Newly designed family and connecting rooms on the fifth floor cater to multi-generational travel, while original 19th-century beams and historic architectural details have been meticulously preserved to tell the story of Brenners’ enduring legacy.
