Begg X Co Presents Spring/Summer 2026: “Vision Of Summer”
Luxferity, 18.11.2025
Begg x Co returns to Paris this October with the unveiling of its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, marking a new chapter under Creative Director Vanessa Seward. Hosted at the brand’s Paris showroom from 2–7 October 2025, the presentation introduces Seward’s first full expression of cashmere menswear, womenswear, and accessories for the storied Scottish label—an evolution from her acclaimed debut capsule.

A Summer Wardrobe Defined by Cashmere Ease
“A Vision of Summer” channels Seward’s belief that knitwear and woven accessories should coexist effortlessly. Here, cashmere silhouettes become the essential building blocks of a polished yet relaxed summer wardrobe, while scarves—an iconic Begg x Co statement—add graphic impact to monochromatic looks.
For womenswear, the collection champions total cashmere dressing through coordinated ensembles: soft culottes and tailored shorts meet refined crews, cardigans, and airy layers that transition seamlessly from day to night.

In menswear, Seward draws from the nonchalant elegance of 1950s sportswear. Textured rugby shirts, relaxed lounge pieces, and newly introduced varsity jackets evoke a nostalgic athletic spirit, grounded in the precision of Begg x Co’s century-old craftsmanship. Essential layering pieces—v-neck vests, summer crews, and heritage-inspired cable knits—anchor the collection in the brand’s archive.
“I wanted to add a certain sophistication to the comfort of cashmere while keeping it simple at the same time. It was a lot about details, stitches, bespoke marls and fit.” — Vanessa Seward, Creative Director

Three Colour Stories Inspired by the Light of Summer
Colour lies at the heart of every Begg x Co collection, and Spring/Summer 2026 continues this signature language with three evocative palettes:
- Neutral Denims – deep indigos, brushed blues, and luminous whites.
- Pastel Acids – soft neutrals punctuated by modern, playful highlights.
- Scottish Moors – cinematic heathers and lush greens capturing Scotland’s landscapes.
Each palette enhances the brand’s mastery of yarn blending and tonal layering, lending depth to both structured and fluid silhouettes.

Accessories as Expressions of Modern Ease
Accessories serve as both quiet accents and bold statements. Scarves—a Begg x Co hallmark—are reimagined in ultra-light constructions and styled as neckerchiefs, headbands, or even as sarongs, reinforcing the season’s spirit of freedom and versatility.

To complement pure cashmere, the collection debuts a new cotton/cashmere blend crafted for breathability. Cropped cardigans, shawl cardigans, and long belted shapes deliver a relaxed approach to summer dressing, perfect for changing temperatures and transitional moments.
“We worked instinctively and pragmatically—our Vision of Summer. Even in hot climates, a light scarf becomes essential against air conditioning or evening breezes. I also loved the idea of a light cable sweater over a swimsuit after a dive in the ocean.” — Vanessa Seward, Creative Director

Crafted in Scotland With Responsible Excellence
Every piece in the Spring/Summer 2026 collection embodies responsible Scottish craftsmanship, blending heritage techniques with a contemporary design vocabulary. The result is a summer wardrobe defined by elegance, comfort, and timeless modernity—Seward’s poetic tribute to the season’s effortless allure.
