As much as he remains strong and confident, and inclined to the bold style gesture, the TOM FORD man explores a variety of shades in being who he is, aware of the fact that masculinity, today, is plural. This season, freedom is high on his mind, as he breaks out of convention, of rules and codes set by in the past, plundering an inherited wardrobe with both respect and irreverence, making the past his own, respecting beauty and history without feeling constricted.

The Summer 2025 collection expresses the joy of dressing to be seen, with a powerful sense of elegant abandon. Codes of gentleman’s dressing and gender are upturned, effortlessly: pussy bow silk shirts in metallic leopard, mock necks in crepe de chine, floral shirts. There is an air of 1960s insouciance to the whole, with a Swinging London tingle: slim tailoring, slouchy blouses and slinky scarves, velvet hip hugging pants, lounge lizard loafers. The TOM FORD man is partial to sharp suits with decisive lapels, wears glossy leather blousons, and white leather or silk trench coats. Metal eyelets belt on the belt, and black pinstripes on cream set the rockstar tone. At night, he delves in shine: golden leopard jacquard jackets, sequined tailoring, black jacquard pants, satin stadium bombers.

Colors swing between the quiet sophistication of delicate tones of stone, ivory, pebble mixed with fragile pastels, powdery blues, pinks and peaches, and unapologetically attention-grabbing shots of hot pink. Fabrics are precious and borrow from both the world of men’s tailoring and women’s couture: silk radzimir, Mikado, twill, georgette, jacquards and fil coupes, and then lurex pinstripe wool, silk and wool organza, pure tailoring wool.
