Featuring new algorithms, the new 42-mm version will bring unprecedented benefits to golfers for an exceptional playing experience. No distractions, just golf.
Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer will launch a new connected watch later this year, taking the sports connected watch to another dimension. The 42-mm version of the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition is the lightest ever made by TAG Heuer to date and features new algorithms that will revolutionize the performance of golf enthusiasts of all levels.
Rarely has a connected watch lived up to its name as much as TAG Heuer’s dedicated golf model, and with the new Full Shot Tracking functionality, the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition will once again take the game to a new level.
Imagine starting a round of golf on your watch and never having to touch your watch during the game for it to keep track of your score. With the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition, this is now possible. All the shots are tracked from the tee to the green, and, once there, putting is also tracked. Best of all, all tracked shots are allocated to a club, so the wearer’s club statistics and distances evolve over time to make sure the club recommendation learns from their performance, making each watch even more highly customized to the golfer over time.
It’s the perfect caddie on the wrist, tracking shots automatically. One merely has to glance at their watch to know the distance for the next shot while seeing the club recommendation as a tool to help their performance reach its maximum potential. And, at the end of the hole, all strokes are already detected, meaning the player simply has to walk to their next hole without ever touching the watch, allowing them to really focus on enjoying the game.
For golf enthusiasts, the TAG Heuer Connected watch takes the sport into a new era by providing all of the valuable information about each hole of the course without the wearer having to interact with the watch. The new TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition slogan sums it up perfectly: “No distractions, just golf.”
The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition follows the path of its April 2022 predecessor, perfectly at home on the golf course and in everyday life. Since 2015, TAG Heuer has established itself as the pioneer in luxury connected watches and a favorite among the golfing community. TAG Heuer’s Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition first launched in 2018 and has been a standout success for the Swiss watchmaker, building on TAG Heuer’s long-standing heritage in the sporting world.
The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition offers a redesigned interface to make it easier to control the watch’s golf-related functions, including high-resolution 2D maps showing hazards and distances on more than 40,000 golf courses around the world. It allows the wearer to improve their game, no matter their level.
The new TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition has a 42-mm dial – 42 mm, like the diameter of a golf ball – but there is more to this new model than meets the eye. The Golf Edition is the most popular TAG Heuer Connected in the collection, and now, in a 42-mm version, it will be accessible to an even wider audience.
With its slightly smaller case, the new TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition is aimed at both male and female golfers. The size of the case and the material used (black titanium) give this connected watch an undeniable advantage: it is the lightest TAG Heuer Connected ever produced. The double benefit of reduced size and weight will allow players to easily achieve a much sought-after objective: a perfectly balanced swing.
With its range of connected watches, TAG Heuer has managed to strike the perfect balance between technology, elegance, and sport without ever compromising on these attributes, which the brand’s customers highly value. The 42 mm Golf Edition is in line with this approach, thanks to its use of elegant materials: sandblasted black titanium for the case and the folding clasp, sapphire crystal for the watch glass, and a steel crown and pushers, inspired by mechanical chronographs.
Building on its strong presence in the world of golf, TAG Heuer has evolved the codes of the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition with the 42 mm model. The white rubber strap now features the TAG Heuer logo on the bracelet itself with a positive relief, while the bezel now displays the hole numbering from 1 to 18.
The elegant white strap is still equipped with a folding clasp and, like the case, this clasp is now in black titanium. This evolution offers a double advantage: a visual harmony essential for a model that redefines elegance in sport and an optimized clasp with a reduced weight for even more precise shots.
The 2023 TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Golf Edition will be sold with an additional, easily interchangeable black leather strap with green stitching, which perfectly complements the original white rubber strap and will allow golfers to display a sporty elegance on all occasions. The watch box will also contain three golf balls.
The new edition of the best-in-class TAG Heuer Golf app will be available from the watch’s launch on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 42 mm Golf Edition will be available in 2023.
