Roberto Cavalli Presents Its New Women’s Resort 2023 Collection

A versatile wardrobe injected with the right dose of elegance, unapologetic femininity and eclectic fun.

For the Resort 2023 season, Creative Director Fausto Puglisi continued his exploration of modern essentials delivering a multifaceted collection, dressing women from day to night.

Imagining a journey from New York, to Miami, to Palm Spring mixing the metropolitan vibe to the multicolor extravaganza of a desert paradise, the designer created an irresistible mix of chic and shock.

The Cavalli women show their badass personality sporting impeccable double-face cashmere coats layered over mannish suede sets with a denim-like look, but they are not afraid to reveal their seductive sensuality dressed in cut-out frocks with high slits.

The brand’s signature wild animal motifs spanning from the archival pheasant pattern to jacquard maxi jaguar spots and timeless leopard prints, are juxtaposed to palate cleansing solids for a harmonious balance between flamboyancy and discretion. The scales of a sinuous snake are also recreated through laser techniques on precious leather styles.

Plush velvet is combined with lace on effortless chic fluid dresses, while Puglisi’s obsession for asymmetric cuts results in charming skirts worn with blouses for a revisited lady-like look or knitted sweaters with a silky touch.

Moving from New York’s timeless edge to the desert, sophisticated neutrals and blue tones give way to rich shades of red, orange and pink, evoking a fiery sunset in Miami. Charming color effects inject tridimensionality into shearling coats worn over pajama-like suits with a relaxed feel and into sensual evening gowns peppered by dainty lace decorations.

If a lively green leopard pattern is splashed on a see-through lacquered fabric crafted from a trucker jacket paired with a matching skirt, the vibrant hues of tropical fishes inspire the gradient effects of chiffon gowns and separates. At the same time, Baiadera stripes printed on a cotton voile flounced skirt matched with a coordinated blouse invite to indulge into an exotic extravaganza.

Flat sandals embellished with blossoming leather flowers complete the look, along with a range of eye-catching gold and pearl head accessories and jewelry pieces.
