Roberto Cavalli Presents Its New Fall-Winter 2024/25 Women's Collection: Marbleous

A new word was needed to describe the Roberto Cavalli Fall Winter 2024-25 collection: MARBLEOUS, from MARBLE and MARVELOUS.

The marvel of polychrome marbles, telling the story of the world through art and architecture, in-tertwines with the marvel of today's women, wonderfully gifted with the power of metamorpho-sis, evolution, and change. Roberto Cavalli's animal print is reinterpreted in an endless variety of veins found on those white and black Grand Antique marbles which are typical of historic Pompeii villas, printed on ultra-light oversized puffer jackets and on a marbled patent leather day bag. The baroque opulence of Portoro marble, featuring tiny flakes of yellow gold on black and vice versa, turns into a sinuous devoré velvet skirt, to be paired with a sophisticated black leather blouse or one printed with inlaid polychrome marbles. We also find a stretch pencil dress in devoré fabric in burgundy tones of Rubané marble or in emerald hues of Irish Green, with chenille islands on black tulle. Precious pleated capes with photographic marbles, printed by corrosion on velvet and chif-fon, also make their appearance in the MARBLEOUS collection together with classic cut-out even-ing models, sensual leather miniskirts with bark pleats, and an elegant pantsuit paired with a sculptural jacket. Everything becomes light and solid at the same time, just like the polychrome marbles found in Renaissance churches. This image of a powerful and confident woman is rein-forced by accessories that include buttons and jewelry in marble and gold-tone metal, a Roar Bag in marble-effect reptile, boots that are high-heeled yet not punitive, and modern flat shoes named "Pettegole" in all shades of the most beautiful veins.

In the MARBLEOUS Fashion Show for Fall Winter 2024-25, two Couture creations are bound to stand out: both mini dresses featuring a trapeze silhouette, expressing uniqueness, creative genius, and Italian sartorial mastery. Look 17, in black velvet and silk twill, features a straight neckline, a Marble print in black and white, and is embellished with jewel straps, black leather and velvet inlays, micro embroidery, and crystal details. Look 23, with a V neckline, features an upper part in 3D effect Marble jacquard and a skirt in Red Marble print silk twill, and is made unique by cut-out details, red velvet, and leather inlays, and elaborate micro embroidery.
