Roberto Cavalli Presents Its New Couture Collection Fall/Winter 2024

For the Fall/Winter 2024 season, Roberto Cavalli Creative Director Fausto Puglisi designed the couture from a different perspective. His goal was to telegraph a sense of immediacy, along with a fresh and contemporary vibe, definitely young at heart.

While paying tribute to the couture tradition through the employment of upscale materials and exquisite artisanal techniques, he put the focus on uncomplicated silhouettes, letting women free to move, dance, express themselves and their uniqueness.

In keeping with the designer’s vision, everything was infused with unapologetic glamour for styles stealing the spotlight with sparkle and feminine sensuality. A free-spirited 70s’ vibe resonates in the range of gowns and mini frocks reinterpreting vintage crochet numbers with intricate micro materials and crystal embroideries, as well as crystal fringed embellishments.

The combination of archival motifs with Fausto Puglisi’s signature rock vibe led to the development of extraordinary couture creations showing distressed and destroyed finishings, crystal fringes, irregular and strategic cut-outs.

At the same time, Roberto Cavalli’s iconic elements, including floral and wild animal motifs, pop up with an abstract look obtained with intricate intarsia trimmed with ajour embroideries and illusion tulle details matched with crystals and frayed georgette stripes framing the body’s silhouette.

At the same time, reflecting the brand’s rebellious, daring attitude, classic couture shapes, exuding timeless sophistication, were updated with contemporary touches. A range of silk cady gowns and mini dresses, worked in a delicate palette of pastels, spanning from mint, apricot and lavender to bubblegum pink and macaron green blue, show bustier and mermaid constructions enriched with curved, anatomical cut-outs and biker-inspired stitching details.

Completing the collection, the iconic Roar Bag is shown in a precious mint green version embroidered with degrade crystals and featuring the signature tiger metal hand embellished with sparkling applications. The evening bag range also includes clutches with metallic straps showing exquisite crystals embroideries, beaded fringes and flamboyant ostrich feathers.
