For Spring 2025, LeSportsac x Roberto Cavalli brings together two icons: the durable and lightweight craftsmanship of LeSportsac with the wild glamour and unapologetic style of Roberto Cavalli.

The connection between Roberto Cavalli creative director Fausto Puglisi and LeSportsac goes back decades. During his youth in the Sicilian city of Messina, Puglisi would wander through a popular store, by coincidence also named Puglisi, and admire its array of designer bags, including those from LeSportsac. He recalls one of his schoolteachers, a glamorous woman, carrying a LeSportsac bag every day. When embarking on this collaboration, Puglisi and LeSportsac creative director Luca Schmitz sought to emulate those memories of fashionable and nostalgic handbags, transformed for the needs of today's customer.

“When I connected with LeSportsac, I wanted to use the collaboration as a way to think about a Cavalli way to carry something on the subway in New York or to Coachella or to Burning Man,” says Puglisi. “Ultimately, we created something democratic, easy and young.”

All four groups benefit from LeSportsac’s signature lightweight, high-quality materials, finished with details built to impress and to last. The prints are placed specifically so there are natural variations from piece to piece, and so that every bag features the Roberto Cavalli signature. Non-puckering zippers provide an elevated level of functionality and user experience. Whenever there are two zippers, one utilizes a LeSportsac pull and the other a Roberto Cavalli pull, ensconcing the partnership literally in each bag. Each product comes in a limited edition dust bag.

“It’s not a one-off—this is a real collaboration where two brands re-tell their story in a well-crafted, thoughtful way,” says Schmitz. “What impressed me about working with Fausto specifically was his ability translate Cavalli’s DNA for a younger audience. As 2024 marked our 50th anniversary, I can think of no better foundation than this collaboration to carry LeSportsac into the future.”
