Heart Shape by Messika

‘I like to work with different diamond shapes and stage them to express their personality. A cushion cut is tender and generous, while an emerald cut is going to be more angular. I chose to revisit the heart, a shape not often used in Messika jewellery because of its romantic connotations, and transform it into something more modern’, Valérie Messika, Founder and Creative Director Messika Paris.

JOY COEUR

Choosing to redesign the heart shape, Maison Messika angles it slightly, leaning like a comma. Surrounded by a delicate, asymmetrical micro tessellation, it asserts dynamism and energy. It’s twisted shape gives an added touch of playfulness, and it sways as if a metaphor of a sequel in a love story.

NECKLACES

In a range of rose and white gold, pavé and non-pavé, the Joy Coeur collection asserts its strong personality. In the necklace, the heart motif is positioned to be sophisticated and modern.

EARRINGS

Rock’n’ roll fans will be tempted by one of the single-loop earrings, a contemporary style where the heart-shaped diamond hangs weightlessly, set on a semi-circle. The second style offers a filigree look attached to a micro chain.
