Louis Vuitton’s collection of beautifully crafted connected objects continues its journey with the introduction of the new portable LV Nanogram Speaker, designed to travel with today’s adventurers in self-expression. The LV Nanogram Speaker builds on the legacy and unparalleled creativity of the Maison with a refined design, developed in three crafted declinations, including a limited ‘Damoflage’ edition conceived by Louis Vuitton’s Men Creative Director, Pharrell Williams. A lightweight, portable fashion accessory that’s packed with features and delivers breathtaking sound, the LV Nanogram Speaker was concepted and designed in the same spirit that has guided the Maison’s creativity for generations.
Deep House: amplifying the Louis Vuitton design story
The LV Nanogram Speaker continues Louis Vuitton’s audacious design story. The readily identifiable creative shape, itself a reverential reflection of the iconic Louis Vuitton Toupie bag, is expressed in a compact and modern version with crafted details in reference to Louis Vuitton trunk makers DNA and savoir-faire. In position, the new speaker reclines like a spinning top after it has finished its movement, creating a dynamic platform for beautiful, powerful, mannered audio.
The speaker is fitted with a natural cowhide leather handle pointing back to those trunks and finished with yellow stitching and a red-dyed edge. This is tethered to the speaker with Louis Vuitton engraved steel studs, evoking memories of the fixings that held wooden reinforcement batons in place on the Maison’s early trunk designs.
The detail is a melody of elegant, understated touches. The body carries debossed Louis Vuitton Monogram flowers; the perforated aluminium speaker grille is laser-cut to reveal the LV initials; the rubber ring is decorated with 12 letters spelling out the name of the Maison, each of which is backlit by an LED when the speaker is activated; and the steel buttons are all gently engraved with an icon to indicate their function.
The LV Nanogram Speaker will come in three colourways: essential, timeless “Silver”; soft, natural “Copper”; and statement khaki green “Damoflage”. The latter, created by Louis Vuitton’s Men Creative Director Pharrell Williams, made an impression when it debuted at Louis Vuitton’s Men's Spring-Summer 2024 show. This exclusive animation takes elements of French camouflage and Louis Vuitton’s emblematic Damier motif and fuses them together in a striking, digitised pattern.

The LV Nanogram Speaker is designed for portability and to accompany neo-adventurers on their travels. As such, it is both a state-of-the-art connected audio device and a new expression of an ageless story that began with the iconic trunks Louis Vuitton first presented to travellers 165 years ago.
The LV Nanogram Speaker was conceived to bring beauty and sound to destinations unknown, as well as to perpetuate the Maison’s iconic aesthetic codes and impeccable performance credentials. At 13.5 cm across and just 520 grammes, and with an aluminium body and colour-matched, metallized rubber ring, it’s ready for a life of untold adventures. It also comes with a removable hook so it can be attached to a bag or belt loop, underlining its singular status as a tech-forward portable fashion accessory.
High fidelity: scaled-up tech for upscale performance
Under its stylish skin, the LV Nanogram Speaker is defined by its premium audio performance. It was developed with the expertise of Harman, a globally renowned audio expert company, and delivers rich, room-filling sound with remarkable frequency response. No matter its compact proportions and portable profile, it can achieve a maximum loudness of 84 dB and offer up to 17 hours of autonomy for all-day and all-night audio.
It also has two built-in microphones; is compatible with voice assistants when connected with a smartphone via Bluetooth; offers multipoint so it can be managed by two paired devices; and it can work in unison with another LV Nanogram to create immersive stereo sound.
The LV Nanogram speaker is operated by four polished steel buttons that control its seven functions (power, play/pause, volume, connectivity, call, stereo, voice assistant), while some features can also be managed by the LV Connect app, a smartphone control center that will be familiar to users of Louis Vuitton’s existing suite of connected devices.
