The Kenzo X Verdy ‘Colors’ Collection

KENZO and Artistic Director Nigo are releasing their second collection with visual artist VERDY, who created special graphics for Spring/Summer 2024. This new KENZO x VERDY collection, titled ‘Colors’, will be dropped throughout the season. Inspired by bold, primary colorblocking, that blends playfully and harmoniously within the KENZO universe, it will also showcase new tonal iterations of the brand’s KENZO-PACE sneaker, first introduced last year.

A close friend of Nigo’s, VERDY is a Japanese graphic artist whose bold, playful designs and vibrant colors frequently explore themes of youth culture, rebellion and nostalgia. His work, with influences ranging from skateboarding and hip-hop to manga, has been described as a fusion of Japanese and Western streetwear, making VERDY the perfect creative collaborator for the East-meets-West vibe that Nigo has always envisioned for the brand.

KENZO x VERDY ‘COLORS’ COLLECTION OVERVIEW

MENSWEAR

The menswear line offers a classic zip-up hoodie in grey and sweatshirts in unbrushed molleton, in grey and blue colorway. The ‘KENZO PARIS’ graphic (or simply ‘KP’) is seen across the chest or at the back of the garment in a font envisioned by VERDY. Matching shorts show the same logo at the knee. Jersey T-shirts, in oversized and classic fits, are available in the same colors and also come in a yellow and white iteration.

WOMENSWEAR

For women, a T-shirt in classic and loose fits uses the same logo options as the men’s versions – ‘KENZO PARIS’ or ‘KP’ are seen across the chest or on the back. Poppy red, lemon yellow, white and grey comprise the bright, playful color palette. Also available is a boxy cropped T-shirt in soft white jersey with yellow lettering, as well as a long grey T-shirt dress bearing white logos.

ACCESSORIES

Essential accessories for all round out the offer. A small tote bag in deep-sea blue canvas (same hue as the men’s apparel) displays ‘KENZO PARIS’, just like the baseball caps, in blue with white logo and off-white with yellow logo.

The three fresh summery colors used for the KENZO x VERDY clothing (deepsea blue, red and lemon yellow) are applied to the new version of the KENZOPACE running shoe. Unveiled during the Fall-Winter 2023 show by the brand, the KENZO-PACE has since been in constant evolution and features throughout all the KENZO collections.

The KENZO x VERDY COLORS collection will be available across the entire KENZO network – at KENZO boutiques, on KENZO.com and with selected retail partners on April 12^th 2024.
