Dunhill Introduces Its New Autumn-Winter 2024 Collection
Luxferity, 19.02.2024
dunhill introduces Autumn Winter 2024, the debut from Creative Director, Simon Holloway. Presented in the Duveen Wing, at London’s National Portrait Gallery, the collection features 41 looks and is a sophisticated portrayal of dunhill’s 130-year heritage.
As a starting point, Holloway turned to the house archives, its tailoring expertise and pedigree in dressing cultural figures, such as Truman Capote and Frank Sinatra. Archival house pieces and the golden era of Hollywood style influence a collection that is rich, masculine, and unashamedly elegant. The codes of British menswear take on new significance; contemporised for today’s connoisseur in search of a timeless wardrobe.

“This collection celebrates our origins and subsequent evolution into a unique British luxury house,” says Holloway. “dunhill designs for men that enjoy the finer things in life – from motoring, sporting and cultural events through to classic black tie moments. It is what we have always done best. I hope we have re-captured that spirit, one that is at once refined and international.”
Driving Holloway’s exploration is a focus on expertise in English tailoring craft. The skills held within the house include Bespoke tailoring and Bespoke leather goods which are offered at the London atelier. This is a unique aspect for a British luxury house, outside of Savile Row.
Infusing the collection with this uniquely held narrative, refined suiting uses fabrics exclusively developed in the heritage mills of Yorkshire, Sussex, Somerset, and Biella. The offer includes both two- and three-piece options, topcoats, and formal wear. Beautifully crafted evening suits in velvet sit alongside three-piece tuxedos to evoke a louche formality. A full accompanying haberdashery embellish their style with a sense of personality and panache.
Elegant, informal blazers, dressed casually with pleated flannel Gurkha trousers, gabardine chinos, or else distinguished wool-and-cotton denim five-pocket trousers. Tailored jackets, cut to a new Bourdon silhouette, named after the dunhill Bourdon House flagship, are worn with separate trousers. Clean English lines and confident lapels combine with lightweight canvassing, unlined interiors, and an athletic shoulder.
Statement outerwear is inspired by the car coat – a house signature, crafted for discerning travellers. Indulgent casual pieces, such as reversible driving jackets or knit twinsets, are seen in warm, aristocratic tones of toffee, chocolate brown and cream.

Throughout, the collection plays with the conventions of classic English dressing – updated for contemporary tastes. An elevated wardrobe for modern gentlemen, dunhill Autumn Winter 2024 is rich, masculine, and unashamedly elegant.
