Introduced in 1993, the Moka Express by Bialetti transformed the act of coffee-making into a cherished moment of connection and sharing, an indispensable tradition in every Italian household. Its distinctive design, marked by the unmistakable octagonal shape inspired by Alfonso Bialetti’s wife’s silhouette and her pleated skirts, seamlessly integrates with the lavishness of gold – a quintessential theme in Dolce&Gabbana’s creative realm. This distinctive fusion harmonizes beauty with tradition, meticulous attention to detail, and refined research, resulting in an exhibit that pays homage to Italian hospitality, becoming a precious embodiment of it.

Available in the classic 3-mug configuration, the Moka Oro boasts a special 24-karat gold plating achieved through advanced electroplating technology. In this updated rendition of the iconic coffee maker, enhanced by a relief DG logo, the handle and knob sport an elegant glossy black finish. Enclosed within a specially crafted box serving as both a protective casing and a display unit, the Moka Oro exudes sophistication with its black lacquer exterior. The chest’s interior features a reflective gold upholstery, secured by a clasp reminiscent of the iconic Omino coi Baffi – the character designed by Paul Campani in 1958 that remains Bialetti’s symbol to this day.
