Boglioli Presents Its New Spring Summer 2023 Collection

A photographic exhibition dedicated to the Boglioli Spring Summer 2023 collection is set in the Archiproducts headquarters in Milan, in the heart of the Tortona District, among iconic design pieces, a lush roof garden and original materials.

The collection is inspired by the innate need for escape and the desire for discovery, with the metaphor of a journey on a sailing boat along the sunny settings of the Mediterranean coast. From the blue waves that crash on the beaches, to the thousand Mediterranean greens and the most evocative shades of the warm skies at sunset.

The collection is a tribute to the Italian spirit through a succession of landscapes, unique colors enveloped by the summer breeze, strong emotions and luxury. The garments communicate through an ideal wardrobe, inspired by an aesthetic made of nature, taste and tailoring.

Color, a fundamental element for Boglioli, becomes the main protagonist this season. The chromatic proposal starts from two precise palettes, inspired by the suggestions of the sea and by the contrasts of the earth. Material and intense colors ranging from brown to the shades of blue, including all the reflections of summer water. Deep and classic navy blues flow into the lightness of green: from emerald to bottle green, up to the impalpability of aquamarine. In contrast to the liveliness of these colors, the discreet universe of anthracite and the refinement of chalk white.

The fabrics, carefully selected from the best strictly Italian raw materials, where natural fibers of the highest quality prevail, sharing the same softness. Soft touch is the key-word. The fibers are worked together to obtain a soft, pleasant tactile feeling, unique in contact with the skin, in order to make the fabric even more fluid.  Pure cotton is proposed for garments with a very light hand, or combined with other yarns such as linen, silk and cashmere to give life to numerous blends. Among the novelties of this collection the theme of satin, noble manufacture of the yarns that reflects the visual brightness and gives the fabrics a round hand to the touch.

Outerwear

Traditional models such as the field jacket or the bomber, also proposed in a high performance version with hood. New proposals with evocative names: the Picasso jacket, with soft volumes, the Hemingway jacket, with a vintage attitude and the Sahara Jacket, with a military inspiration.

Jackets

The Windsor jacket takes inspiration from classic English blazers, typical of country life and becomes casual made of silk bourette. For this season a new concept of jacket has been developed, proposed in both single-breasted and double-breasted versions, bringing the lightness of a cloud of superlight jersey.

Four Elements

Four Elements is the capsule that continues the path already undertaken by the brand to be responsible towards the territory and the environment in which we live. Boglioli reinterprets and celebrates some of its most iconic yarns by offering them in a 100% recycled and ecological version. Raw materials that combine responsibility with the excellence of the Boglioli tradition are labeled GRS (Global recycled standard). The garment-dyed superlight high-performance wool is certified merino ZQ (New Zealand wool and moulesing free, i.e. in full respect of animal walefare) and is used to make new versions of K-jackets and more casual suits. The dyeing process is carried out in companies certified by the ZDHC organization in Amsterdam, which sets new standards for the control of production processes.

Knitwear

The under-jackets are embellished through the use of gauge18, both in pure cotton and in the most refined blends with cashmere and silk. The jogging world has been interpreted in a luxury key: cotton, cashmere and silk elevate the casual image. Linen, one of the most representative fibers of Boglioli's summer proposal, is also used for knitwear and presented in different variations. Linen with cashmere and silk blends, or pure in chunky knit crewneck sweaters.
