Alexander McQueen: Autumn Winter 2020 Shoes

The Autumn/Winter 2020 runway collection saw the introduction of a new Peak Boot silhouette and the evolution of the Tread Boot line in the form of the Chelsea Tread Boots. 

The Thigh-High Peak Boots are crafted in soft stretch leather and are characterised by their exaggerated pointed toe, pinched to create a sharp edge, and square-backed sole featuring an enclosed pin heel, a signature of the house, evoking a spine effect. The boots are available in a range of seasonal colours inspired by the women’s read-to-wear collection, including black, lavender, ivory and Welsh red. 

Characterised by an oversized rubber tread sole, originally taken from the menswear collection, the Tread Boots line is inspired by workwear boots. The Chelsea Tread boots have a cleaner upper silhouette with two functional elastic side inserts. Within the Tread Boot family, new lace-up styles have also been introduced. Both are available in black shiny leather.
