A New Language for Luxury: Courrèges FW25
For its Fall-Winter 2025 campaign, Courrèges, under the artistic direction of Nicolas Di Felice, unveils a radical vision in collaboration with acclaimed contemporary artist Dan Colen and the Sky High Farm Biennial. In a bold departure from traditional fashion imagery, the campaign offers neither garments nor models, but instead a wide, pristine white expanse animated by a cascade of multicolour confetti.
This visual gesture references Colen’s seminal 2010 work, Moments Like This Never Last—a piece that has long held a place in Di Felice’s personal library. Serving as the emotional cornerstone of Courrèges’ FW25 collection and scenography, the campaign reimagines luxury not as consumption, but as a shared emotional act of joy, memory, and resistance.

Confetti as a Symbol of Lightness
The central motif—confetti suspended in rewind—transcends decoration. It is a metaphor for the collection’s philosophy: the pursuit of lightness as a uniting force in heavy times. By stripping away the expected codes of commercial campaigns, Di Felice positions Courrèges as a house unafraid to challenge convention, reclaiming the fashion campaign as a canvas for hope and creativity.
Art, Fashion, and Collective Futures
The campaign’s resonance extends beyond aesthetics. It aligns with the inaugural Sky High Farm Biennial (June–September 2025, Germantown, NY), an artist-led initiative spearheaded by Dan Colen and the Sky High Farm community. Its landmark exhibition, Trees Never End and Houses Never End, explores the interconnectedness of ecology and history in New York’s Hudson River Valley.

Proceeds from the Biennial directly support critical causes—food sovereignty and climate solutions—illustrating how fashion and art can collectively mobilize cultural and social change. By championing this project, Courrèges situates itself at the intersection of luxury, sustainability, and philanthropy.
A Campaign Beyond Desire
In a world saturated with objects of desire, Di Felice proposes something deeper: an invitation to reflect, connect, and find lightness together. The Courrèges FW25 campaign is not just a seasonal statement, but a manifesto on how contemporary luxury brands can foster unity through creativity.
