Luxferity, 17.12.2021
Discover Loewe's latest collections alongside a curated selection of artworks.
Art has always been central to Loewe interiors and Casa Loewe Lisbon displays a selection of works by international artists including Forest (2019), a sculpture in acrylic on papier-mâché by Brazilian artist Erika Verzutti, whose practice often combines everyday objects such as fruit and vegetables with ceremonial forms. Also on show are two works by Loewe Foundation Craft Prize 2019 finalists: a piece from the Dichotomy (2019) sculpture series by British artist Harry Morgan, and Collection of Contained Boxes (2018) a composition of three pieces by British artist Andrea Walsh. These share the space with Bowl (2014), a ceramic work by Japanese artist Takuro Kawata, a series of vessels made from carved oak by Jim Partridge and Liz Walmsley, and beautiful shell wall sconces that once belonged in the private collection of Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint Laurent in Paris.
Casa Loewe Lisbon showcases the full range of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, bags, small leather goods, soft accessories including scarves and shawls, eyewear and jewellery.
